Doctor of Dental Medicine

Courses and Descriptions

The DMD program is a straight six-year plan administered by the Dean of the College Dentistry. The first two years is the Pre-Dental covering the General Education and other health-related subjects, and a Four-year Dentistry curriculum with the first two years covering Basic Medical and Dental sciences, and Pre-clinical subjects, the last two years on clinical training.

Dental Hygiene NC IV

Courses and Descriptions

The BSDentHyg course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students in the field of Dental Hygiene in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies in performing oral examination, promoting oral health and hygiene, operating a dental radiographic equipment , applying the principle of radiology, biology and protection in dental practice, performing scaling and polishing, maintaining dental records and resources, and providing effective patient’s/clients service.

Dental Laboratory Technology

Courses and Descriptions

DLT is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of dental technologists in accordance with industry standards. It covers the fabrication/ construction and repair of crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental prosthetics /appliances based on dentists’ prescriptions; management functions in dental laboratory production and operation; performing administrative functions; and career advancement through continuous professional growth and development.
